Barn Star

Inspired by the five-pointed rusty metal star that traditionally adorned the barns of German Pennsylvania farmers and now appears on many Ontario barns and homes.  A playful polycarbonate grid rests on a five-pointed star set against a darker fibreglass mesh backdrop. Warm white dew drop LEDs sprinkle three arms of the star. Two plug-ins; two USB adaptors included, no controller, a steady, soft white light.

If the lean of the star makes it look a little like the Star Trek insignia, that is pure coincidence.  Barn Star was mounted on Local Colour 2018 Art Garden barn for three months through rain or shine, and now hangs in a private barn.
